TerrAmore patented a way to increase preservation time for products destined to IV gamma, through the use of solutions including reducing and/or acidulating good at stopping the catalysed oxidation of polifenolossidasi enzyme and at granting the preservation of the already cut and ready-to-be packaged product for at least seven days. Other researches about sustainability are:

  • Experimentation of new low environmental impact products in order to defend farming (for ex. Using micorrize, a symbiotic association between fungus and plant roots for endive’s cultivation);

  • Studying different removals of different cultivations, in order to get to a ponderous fertilizing plan (for ex: for endive it has been calculated the chemical composition of each part of the plant, in order to value real nutritional needs and present an appropriated fertilizing plan);

  • Studying low environmental impact farming techniques (for ex. Direct seeding of vegetables with the resulting  lowing of plot production).

Microbiology studies bacteria, focusing on their physical and chemical features, their classification and their interaction one to another referring to environment. Microbiological agriculture is a type of agriculture that considers a pesticide zero leftover, oriented to a qualitative and quantitative level economically sustainable. Food quality refers to: flavor; pesticide zero leftover; antioxidant rising; proteins rising; amino acid rising; mineral salt rising.
