RED AND GREEN LOLLO
The Red Lollo is a quality of lettuce introduced IN THE South of Italy about ten years ago from the Northern Europe , with tufts of red light greenish or in the variant " TRIPLE RED " a bright red and tending to scarlet and then with tufts on average lighter (200 g on average) , poise and hemispherical bottom .
The Lollo is a type of green lettuce with tufts of bright green light , low and hemispherical . Poor in calories, is a great and refreshing aperitif. It has a good dose of vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Intense flavor is suitable for strong condiments and is widely used in cooking mixed with other types of lettuce in salads .
The Lollo is cultivated mainly for IV range for the production of TRIS together with other types , crispy and slightly bitter , excellent shelf life.
The cultivation may be with convetional method respecting the Disciplinary of "Produzione di Lotta Integrata " .
