Land cress belongs to the family of the Brassicaceae and its origin is located in the North of Africa and West-central Asia . Its odour is very intense and it may grow-up till 50 cm ( 19,68 inch ) with leaves arranged in rotated way .It is a tasty watercress substitute, ready to eat in seven to eight weeks after sowing. It is rich in vitamins, iron and calcium and provides a continuous supply over a long period. It is easy to grow.
The cultivation may be with convetional method respecting the Disciplinary of "Produzione di Lotta Integrata " method .
